ECO3 will unveil what it calls “the future of aqueous flexo platemaking” at Labelexpo Europe, taking place 16-19 September 2025 in Barcelona.

At Hall 5, Booth 5D13, ECO3 will premiere the Magis Pro-Eco 300+, its next-generation all-in-one aqueous processor that combines LED exposure, washout, drying, and finishing in a compact, efficient unit.

The Magis Pro-Eco 300+ is designed to make sustainable platemaking simpler and faster. Its integrated workflow is intended to simplify daily operation, reduce manual steps, and support a more efficient production process.

With LED UV exposure, it avoids the warm-up delays of traditional lamps, lowers energy needs, and provides more stable operation. The company said the “steady, uniform output of LED ensures consistent plate quality across jobs, while eliminating the hassle of frequent lamp changes and recalibrations”.

Tailored for label and narrow web converters, as well as repro houses, it offers a practical path to solvent-free platemaking.

Unlike thermal systems, the company said this approach combines aqueous processing with its Dry-Film-Lamination technology, ensuring the consistency, detail and reliability that flexo production demands.

“Our focus is on providing a complete solution”, said Guy Desmet, global head of strategy and marketing at ECO3.

“The Magis Pro-Eco 300+ is an important addition because it makes aqueous platemaking more practical and accessible. More importantly, it fits into a bigger picture – an open flexo system that supports both aqueous and solvent workflows, designed to help printers achieve the highest consistency and quality, while working more efficiently and with a lower environmental footprint.”

ECO3’s flexo portfolio is designed to give flexo professionals choices in how they move toward more sustainable production.

“With the Magis Pro-Eco 300+ supporting aqueous platemaking, the Amfortis workflow ensuring accuracy and automation, and the availability of solvent plate solutions for hybrid setups, ECO3 provides a flexible path forward that matches each printer’s needs and pace of investment,” Desmet added.

This offering is further strengthened by ECO3’s technologies, such as Spir@l screening, which delivers sharper image detail and smoother tonal rendering; as well as GridTune surface patterning, which ensures consistent ink transfer and optimised solids.

By improving quality and consistency on press, the company said these innovations help flexo professionals reduce waste and downtime, and supports more efficient and sustainable production.

Visitors to booth 5D13 will be able to learn how ECO3’s open flexo system integrates with existing environments, and how it can support a shift toward more sustainable and efficient production.

The ECO3 team will be available to share insights, discuss tailored options, and show how sustainability and productivity can go hand in hand.
