Durst Group and CERM have joined forces to deliver real-time integration between Durst Tau presses and CERM’s MIS, giving label converters a seamless flow of production and business data to boost transparency, productivity and decision-making.

Confirmed at Labelexpo Europe 2025 this week, Durst Group and CERM's strategic partnership promises to streamline label production by bridging the gap between the printing press and business management systems. The collaboration introduces a newly developed connector between Durst Analytics and CERM’s Management Information System (MIS), enabling production data from Durst Tau digital label presses to flow directly into the MIS in real time.

This integration offers printers greater efficiency, transparency, and control, the companies said.

Serge Clauss, product manager Software & Solutions at Durst, noted: “The demand for full integration of production and business data has been strong in our industry for years. By connecting Durst Analytics with CERM, we are now offering our customers a solution that delivers maximum transparency and control.”

From CERM’s perspective, the move addresses a longstanding challenge for converters seeking a unified ecosystem. “By linking with Durst Analytics, our customers now have, for the first time, the ability to connect their Durst Tau label presses to our MIS in real time – an essential step to increasing productivity and making data-driven decisions,” said Steffen Haaga, director of Global Business Development at CERM.

Both companies concur the partnership is a signal of their shared commitment to innovation and competitiveness in the label industry.

The official launch of the connector is taking place at Labelexpo this week, with live demonstrations available at the Durst booth (3E79) and the CERM booth (3G43).
