A B Graphic International (ABG), represented in the ANZ market by Currie Group, has launched the DigiLase Duo – a dual-laser digital finishing system that sets new benchmarks in speed, precision and reliability.

Developed in close collaboration with a customer, the DigiLase Duo features two independent laser light sources, delivering up to twice the speed of a single-laser unit and ensuring full redundancy of the hardware – a critical advantage in high-demand, web-to-print environments.

According to ABG, the new system significantly increases throughput while reducing reliance on a single light source, offering converters a faster, more flexible and more resilient solution.

Built-in innovation
A standout feature is the new Repeat Flow functionality, which enables automated switching of die lines within each web repeat without operator input or waste – ideal for short-run and unique sheet applications.

The DigiLase Duo also supports customers in their sustainability goals. With ABG Connect workflow integration, job changes are optimised to minimise waste and reduce material loss, supporting leaner and more environmentally conscious operations.

Mark Norman, technical director at ABG, said: “The DigiLase Duo is the result of listening to our customers and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with digital laser cutting and in-house software development. By introducing dual independent lasers, we’ve been able to deliver exceptional gains in speed, flexibility and reliability, while also helping customers to minimise waste. It’s a significant step forward in digital finishing technology.”

Showcasing at Labelexpo

ABG will showcase the DigiLase Duo alongside other customer-driven innovations on stand 3E41 at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place 16–19 September at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, Spain.

With the launch of the DigiLase Duo, ABG – together with Currie Group in the ANZ market – continues to deliver advanced finishing solutions that help printers and converters sharpen their competitive edge.
