As the global print and packaging community gathered in Barcelona for Labelexpo Europe 2025, Jet Technologies joined industry leaders in celebrating innovation, collaboration, and the future of sustainable printing.
For Jet Technologies, the event was a chance to connect with partners, share insights, and explore the ideas shaping the next evolution of the label and packaging sector.
Ahead of the show, Jet Technologies hosted a special client event in Italy, bringing together key partners from across the region to visit some of Europe’s most advanced label and packaging printers. These companies are setting new benchmarks in automation, digital printing and sustainable production.
“These visits gave our team valuable insights into the trends and technologies driving innovation across Europe,” said Jack Malki, director of Jet Technologies. “It was a fantastic opportunity to see how sustainability and performance are being redefined, and how we can bring those learnings back to our clients across Asia Pacific.”
Among the highlights of the exhibition was the global unveiling of Screen’s Truepress LABEL 520AQ, a concept press powered by water-based inks.
“This breakthrough technology combines sustainability with performance, delivering exceptional print quality at 1200 by 2000 dpi and speeds of 150 metres per minute,” Malki said. “It is a clear statement about where the industry is heading, toward higher productivity without compromising environmental responsibility or image fidelity.”
Other standout moments included Polly Automatic showcasing the Jet iQ range of highly automated finishing systems, and Xaar presenting the Versatex digital print bar, a technology that is transforming the embellishment market with new levels of speed, flexibility and creativity.
This year marked Jet Technologies’ largest ever attendance at Labelexpo, with team members Shane Sullivan, James Montgomery, Sam Toft, Darryl Wilson and Jack Malki representing the ANZ region alongside colleagues from Indonesia and Vietnam. The company also joined partners on their stands, including Kocher and Beck, SPG Prints, Asahi, Flexowash, Pulse and Recyl.
“Our message remains clear. Innovation and sustainability are the twin pillars of growth,” Malki concluded. “The printers and converters leading this change are those investing today in technologies that enhance quality, reduce waste and build resilience for the future.”
Jet Technologies continues to play a pivotal role in connecting global innovation with local application, linking leading technology providers with businesses across the region that are seeking practical and future ready solutions.
