100th Concepta for Muller Martini open house
Commemorating the recent installation of its 100th Concepta web offset printing press, Muller Martini will be holding its traditional international open house event at the Optys printing plant in the Czech Republic on June 29.
Practical demonstrations of the recently commissioned nine-color Concepta at the Optys plant will be the primary feature of the jointly held event, as well as presentations on topics ranging from printing security products to demanding mailshots.
According to a company statement, the Concepta at Optys is equipped with a UV dryer and a Q74 rotary cross cutter, as well as the make ready system.
Ivan Svak, production director at Optys says the Concepta’s diverse range of applications was a key factor behind the purchase.
“The Concepta impresses with numerous benefits: excellent print quality, ease of operation, a broad order spectrum, an efficient inking system, innovative ink zone control and short setup times thanks to the integrated Make Ready System,” said Syak.

Controls of the Concepta can be integrated into the workflow of the printing plant using CIP standard. The make ready system uses the downloaded data for automatic setup of the machine.
Founded in 1992, the Optys printing house employs over 400 staff and is one of the top names in the Czech Republic when it comes to manufacturing mailshots, forms, advertising and security products.
