Printing Industries has launched a search for its third CEO in less than eight months and is offering more than a quarter of a million dollars a year - plus incentives.
The PIAA has hired recruitment firm Investigo to find it’s next chief after the retirement of Bill Healey and the shock resignation of his successor Jason Allen.

The Printing Industry Association of Australia (PIAA) is the peak National industry association with offices in five states providing leadership, direction and services to the industry as well as the being the catalyst for the prosperity of the graphics, print, packaging and visual communication industries in Australia.
Reporting to the President and Board, the CEO will enjoy a high level of autonomy in this exciting role. As CEO you will have overall accountability for the effective, financially viable management of PIAA as well as the setting of, implementation and measurement of the Associations’ future strategy in serving its members.
More specifically the key responsibilities are:
Through proactive engagement with industry, members and government develop a cohesive and motivated national organisation.
You will also take the lead in reviewing the organisational structure, streamlining of business processes and workflow planning to minimise operational overhead.
Through research and innovation develop, identify and implement new revenue streams and programmes.
Development and implementation of strategic day-to-day planning
Support the President and board with key financial information and operational analytics.
To be successful in the role you will have strong attributes associated with communication and networking skills, change management, strategic leadership, development of a brand and a demonstrated record of achievement related to the overall attainment of excellence in an executive position within a complex and highly diverse organisation.
Your significant experience in building strong positive relationships with business, industry and government representatives will enable you to effectively represent the PIAA in relevant forums in order to deliver strong sustainable results for the Association and the industry.
