30-day free evaluation of QuarkXPress 7

As the long-awaited release continues to roll out around the world local distributor, Scholastic Media & Technology, says it is targeting established users, encouraging them to upgrade.

“There are many customers still using versions four and five and we are encouraging them to move to the new QuarkXPress 7,” said Martina Akouri, Marketing & Product Co-ordinator. “ We are having good success.”

The new version of QuarkXPress has beaten Adobe to the punch by being the first major design and publishing application to be able to run on the new Intel-powered Macs. The Universal application is a free update (7.01) to QarkXPress 7 users.

Australia and New Zealand graphics professionals can either access the free trial versions (7.0 & 7.01) from the web http://www.quark.com/products/xpress/

Or you can register by email here for a CD version, which will arrive in Australia within a couple of weeks.
