Two Roland B2 offset presses and a range of finishing equipment from Sydney’s Burwood Press went on sale this morning.

Burwood sold to Rawson Print in August and the excess machinery is being auctioned on Ascent Partners’ online site, Print Machinery Auctions.

“We’ve just set the reserve prices and the Roland 300 six colour presses have a very realistic $40,000 reserve price,” says Ascent director Richard Rasmussen.

“Think about that – you can possibly buy - if you’re the final bidder at that price - an automated 1998 Roland SIX colour B2 press, which has been well maintained and with low impressions, for $40,000 plus Buyer’s Premium (10%) plus GST.  There are two of these presses being auctioned – one is a straight machine, the other a perfector (2/4).

“Other lots also have very realistic reserves and some plant has no reserve at all.”

Lots from Burwood and other vendors include:

3 x Heidelberg GTO 52 presses, Heidelberg SM52-2-P, QM46-2.

Konica Minolta C 8000 Biz hub

3 x MBO, G&K and Morgan folders.

3 x Polar and Wohlenberg Guillotines, jogger and stack lift.

2 x Heidelberg T platens

Muller 1509 Saddle Stitcher and a B1.

Arizona Wide Format 350GT

Voyager Laminator.

2 x truck / vans, plus many more print related equipment.
