A gem of a night at the Victorian Pica Awards - diamond results
Diamond, Emerald and Ruby awards were in keeping with the glittering occasion at the Sofitel on Collins last Friday.
The state-based award rolled on last week when the Victorian industry turned out in numbers to celebrate the achievements of their peers. For the second year running the winners of the Picas will represent their home state in the National Print Awards next year.
The Melbourne black-tie soirée came ahead of this Friday’s South Australia Event. A jubilant Ron Patterson, Victorian general manager, Printing Industries, congratulated all concerned. “A great venue, a great night that was well supported from industry with many different winners this year who will represent the state in NPA. Well done to everyone!”
A high point of the night came with a special presentation to Robert Black, who recently resigned from RMIT. He is pictured with Ray Keen, president Printing Industries Victoria (left) and Trevor Hone, chairman of the Awards
