Aarque Graphics brings Swiss inks to New Zealand

A long-standing relationship sees Positive Camtec appoint Aarque Graphics as the New Zealand distributor of Sensient Sublimation inks.

The inks, which are manufactured in Switzerland, already have a large market share in Australia. Adriano Gut, sales and marketing manager for Positive Camtec, was keen for New Zealand to have local access and support for the product.

According to Gut, Positive Camtec chose Aarque Graphics for its extensive involvement with the company. “Our association with Aarque Graphics, who have clearly proven themselves as the partner of choice for many industry professionals in New Zealand, will prove to be a real asset to Positive Camtec and Sensient,” he said.

These thoughts were echoed by Philip Trumble, technical director at Positive Camtec. “Aarque’s market knowledge, attention to customer service ad after-sales support is in sync with Positive Camtec’s own philosophy and an essential requirement of any of our resellers,” Trumble said.

Aarque Graphics was recently given exclusive distributorship of Agfa’s Anapurna range of commercial UV flatbed/roll-to-roll inkjet print devices and consumables. Grant Blockley, business development at Aarque Graphics is just as excited at moving into the dye sublimation market.

“We see dye sublimation as an emerging and exciting opportunity in the New Zealand display graphics market,” he said. “We now look forward to being able to provide existing and new entrants to the dye sub market a compelling alternative to the black art of sublimation graphics.”
