Aarque Group handles HP Scitex commercial printers in NZ

HP’s New Zealand channel partner, Aarque Group, extends its product portfolio to include the HP Scitex commercial range of printers.

Aarque Group, under its divisions, Aarque Graphics, Aarque Sign & Screen and Frontline, services digital print markets from its six branches across New Zealand. Prior to this agreement, Aarque was a channel partner for HP Designjet with particular focus in the architectural and engineering markets as well as graphics. The new agreement extends this focus to commercial and production print markets.

According to Jason Bult, business development manager for Aarque, the extension will provide a more expansive service to clients. “We have a number of clients in the commercial sector who are keen to explore broader opportunities for digital print. With our expanded portfolio we are able to offer more comprehensive solutions and are excited about strengthening our partnership with HP to target future market opportunities,” he said.

Shane Lucas, (pictured), director, HP Graphic Arts South Pacific believes the deal will open up the range of printers to new markets. “Aarque has had a long association with HP dating back to the early days of inkjet and plotters for the technical market. Today, they have extensive networks across all digital print segments. We are enthusiastic about Aarque taking on the HP Scitex Commercial range as this enables us to benefit from Aarque’s well-developed channels and take digital print into new markets,” he said.
