Adgraphix advances with HP Digital Print Award

New Zealand large format digital printer, Adgraphix, steps onto the global stage in HP Digital Print Awards 2010.

Taking out a bronze in the Interior Advertising category, in Shanghai this month, the company was the only one in Australasia to place at the awards. According to Scott Shore, (pictured) operations managing director, this is something of an achievement in itself.

“We are thrilled we took out the bronze award,” he said. “Ideally, gold is the ultimate goal, but given the geographic size of the region from which entries were eligible, we are happy with our achievement.”

For the past eleven years, Adgraphix has specialised solely in large format digital print. “As we have grown, we have become a loyal customer of HP Scitex,” Shore added. “Thanks to our customer, Glassons, for allowing us to enter their challenging, yet awesome design.”

Alex Lim, creative director, Publicis Singapore, said that “the winning entries are true works of art that deliver not just on precision and quality, but have managed to redefine the basic premise of digital printing in the signage industry through their clever use of substrates, colour and creativity.”
