Adobe and Chromaticity launch industry seminars to watch out for

The release of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 is imminent and will bring with it a range of new features, including advanced review and commenting tools, document security controls and the ability to combine different application files into the one document. To mark this launch Adobe is presenting a series of free seminars around the country.

The seminars will be offered for both creative and business professionals, and will teach attendees how to best utilise the new features of the software package. Visit the Adobe website for details of specific dates and venues in each city.

Another opportunity for printing-related development comes courtesy of colour supplier Chromaticity Australia, which will be running another series of colour management training courses in response to last year's success. The three-day course on Advanced Colour Management again be held, while a new two-day RGB Digital Output Colour Management course will be introduced.

The courses will be hosted by Chromaticity's local colour expert David Crowther, and will use the latest equipment to provide training in some of the leading systems available. “These training courses are designed to provide hands on working knowledge of colour management tools, practices, processes and implementation,” says Crowther.

The courses will be held at Rhodes near Sydney's Olympic Park, call Hannah Kreveld on (02) 97435394 or email info@chromaticity.com.au for more information.
