Adobe expert brings script tips to Australia

Adobe’s Dave Saunders calls in on Australia to show InDesign users how to read between the lines when it comes to scripting.

Saunders (pictured) will deliver two seminars, ‘Introduction to InDesign Scripting’ and ‘InDesign Scripting Masterclass’, in Melbourne and Sydney from 3 to 6 March. More information and bookings can be found through visiting here.

According to Eliot Harper of information publishers, Eliot & Company, scripting is something that will help print providers, publishers, creative professionals and any InDesign user looking to automate manual work.

“These seminars are of great interest to a large audience, especially those in the printing industry,” Harper said.

“The nature of their work is often very repetitive and through InDesign you can automate this with scripting.”

Harper believes there is much to be gained from utilising the benefits of scripting.

“It is one of the most unknown, unused features in InDesign, but it is extremely powerful,” he said.
