Agfa Graphics relocates NSW Office
The over 1300 square metre office/warehouse complex will also contain technical and training facilities for Agfa Graphics' growing Northern Region sales and support group. Located at Unit 5 "Parklands Estate", 9-11 South Street, Rydalmere, the new facility boasts plenty of customer parking as well as state of the art communication and presentation facilities which have become a key part of complex system sales that the Agfa Graphics business now supports.
Agfa Graphics' Northern Region Sales Manager Ron Stewart, who is coordinating the move, is not phased having been a key part of the integration of the DuPont and Printing Technology businesses into the former Homebush building several years ago."All existing phone lines will be transferred so Agfa customers won't experience any disruption to service and support" said Stewart.
The move to Rydalmere marks Agfa's commencement of its fifth decade in Sydney, first in Lane Cove when Agfa Gevaert was initially incorporated in Australia in 1964, then in early nineties to a shared facility with the then parent company Bayer at Pymble.
After Bayer's divestiture and Agfa's initial launch as a public company Agfa Gevaert moved its three business groups (Photo, Healthcare and Graphics) to Homebush in early 2000. With Agfa's recent focus on core business (Graphics and Healthcare) and the trend in the Graphic business to be more IT focussed the relocation to a state of the art facility at Rydalmere is timely.
