All eyes on iStock artists
Two Australian creative artists recognised as global winners by iStockphoto for Design of the Year and photography work.
Anthony McGovern of Atomic Designs won design of the year, while photograher, Amanda Rohde, was inducted into the iStockphoto Hall of Fame.
The finalists were short-listed by the three and a half million iStock community and a panel of guest judges selected the winners, who hail from seven different countries.
McGovern was delighted by the news that he was one of ten winners from the Punctum Day awards.
"It is a great honour to be nominated in the top ten designs for the year and very humbling to be chosen as the best," he said. "I was blown away."

McGovern (pictured) praised iStock as being an ideal conduit for displaying his work. "Having a royalty-free creative community like iStock where design, photography, illustration and video artists can go to show their work is a vital resource to everyone," he said.
Amanda Rohde, better known by her screen name, 'Hidesy' was inducted into the iStockphoto Hall of Fame for her widely-used photographs.
