Allely not yet finished with PMP

The largest printing company in the region has extended top seat tenure as CEO Richard Allely’ signs on for another three years.

Although content with PMP’s accomplished to date he believes that another three years is needed to take the company to where it needs to be. However, he says if it were time for him to leave he would be happy with what the company has achieved to date.

“I think the challenge for our organisation is to create the lowest cost and most efficient business on our core print and distribution division, and to fully realise the potential that exists in our marketing services group.

“That will take some more time and I feel that the renewal of my contract enables me to deliver both,” says Allely (pictured). “My original contract was for three-years with an option in March to extend for a further 12 months. But instead the Board and I have agreed to another contract that will see me work with PMP for an additional three years.”

His vision for the company is to provide a full media and marketing service solution, to add more value than just the price of a printed product. “It will be business as usual, head down and tail up to complete what we started around two and a half years ago,” he says. “It’s important that our offering extends beyond simply print.”

Graham Reaney, chairman of PMP Limited, is pleased Allely agreed to another term in the top chair. “The new agreement was structured to provide stronger alignment with the interests of shareholders and reflected current market practices and good governance principles.”

PMP recently appointed Dr. Anna Cicognani as executive general manager to run its marketing services division. Working closely with digital head, Graham Plant, the two will develop strategic initiatives for business development.

“Anna joins us at a pivotal time in PMP Limited’s development. Her experience and capability complement the strategic focus for the Group to achieve our full potential in the marketing services sector,” says Allely.
