Angel Babies Foundation seeks helping hand from printers
Not-for-profit charity, Angel Babies Foundation, is calling on printers around Australia to volunteer to produce its registration forms.
According to Maree Davenport, executive director and chairman of the foundation that provides counselling and support to individuals and families who have lost a child, it is not possible to pay for the printing of registration forms for its Kids Down Under fundraiser.
“We have hospitals, schools, sporting associations, businesses and children's services nationally willing to distribute the forms, but as a volunteer organisation we cannot justify the expense of printing for this purpose when our priority is provision of information to those who have sadly lost their baby,” Davenport said.
“We’ve received so many calls for more forms at our distribution points, but we just can’t keep paying to have the registration forms printed as that means we can’t keep up the support forms for people whose children have died.”
The organisation is seeking support from as many printers as possible around Australia. “It really doesn’t matter what the forms are printed on, even if it’s left-overs,” Davenport said. “If they can donate this and help out then we are able to divert the much-needed funds we raise to our direct support and services.”
Interested printers can get in touch with the organisation by calling 1300 283 238.
