Anitech has been named the exclusive local distributor for the Durst Omega 1 printer, announcing that it will begin distribution of the entry level Durst machine.
Mark Brown, Anitech general manager sales and marketing said, “this will complement Anitech’s range of Seiko roll and Jetrix flatbed printers to provide a full and comprehensive range to the industry. At Anitech we now offer a total package of printers, laminators and consumables to suit the entire industry.”
The Omega 1 is a UV inkjet printer which combines Durst’s 10 years’ experience of roll to roll printing technology and can print rigid and flexible material without compromise to either.
The machine will print onto media like Kapa, Forex, Acrylic, Dibond and wood up to a thickness of 50mm, as well as self adhesive foils, papers, PVC vinyls, PE foils or textiles. It is very compact in size, only requiring 15m2 of floor space, yet it will print large images up to 160cm wide by any length, which is only limited by the media length, and at a production speed up to 35m² per hour.
The Omega will make its first showing with Anitech on stand #0438 at PacPrint in Melbourne on 21 to 25 May.
Anitech will also present Bordeaux’s environmentally friendly, Eco solvent and Mild solvent ink series, developed with nano size pigment particles to ensure excellent jetabiliy and printing quality at its PacPrint stand.
The company will offer visitors the latest additions to the Bordeaux portfolio of environmentally friendly Eco solvent and Mild solvent inks, including Bordeaux’s fully tested and proven Mix & Match series, 100 per cent color and chemically compatible OEM inks.
These environmentally friendly inks, free of VOC’s, are formulated to achieve optimum adhesion; high quality color and performance as well as long-term outdoor durability with multiple rigid, flexible and super-flexible substrates.
“Once again Anitech will present to visitors Bordeaux’s solvent ink solutions,” said Tony Radley, Anitech National Business Development Manager – Consumables. “Bordeaux delivers the most valuable advancements for our customers in order for them to further increase the variety of wide format printing applications. Additionally, Pacprint is an excellent opportunity to survey print service providers about the recent introduction of Bordeaux’s UV and UV LED curable inks.”
Designed for high throughput UV printers equipped with industrial printheads, Bordeaux’s fast-curing UV & UV LED ink series were developed in response to the increasing demand for improved sustainable printing solutions. This fully tested and proven ink series offers extended compatibility to a very wide range of rigid and roll-to-roll substrates as well as long-term outdoor durability, opening many new possibilities for Print Service Providers that cannot be achieved with any other inkjet technology.
