Anitech to unleash new Seiko machine at PacPrint
The ColorPainter 100S offers many of the features and functions available in the 64S, including the six-colour solvent EG-outdoor Ink set. Some of the improvements in the new model include media support for rolls up to 110 kg, a new print resolution 540 x 720 dpi and a bi-directional print mode that offers speeds of up to 20 square metres per hour.
Some of the other features of the ColorPainter 100S include an ability to print on mesh without using liner, double-side printing and double-roll side-by-side printing.
The 100S is targeted directly at the grand-format market, and such it boasts 6 industrial piezo-electric heads with 512 nozzles each, a true resolution of 720 DPI and the capability to print onto uncoated media as large as 104” (264 cm) wide.
Anitech marketing manager Barry Grant is looking forward to showing off the machine on the company's stand at PacPrint. “The Colorpainter 100S is the big brother of Seiko's 64S, which was an extremely successful product for Anitech,” he says. “The new machine meets an the demand for a similar product with wider printing capabilities, and I know the industry will be impressed when they get to take a look at PacPrint.”
