In her new role, Rowland-Campbell’s key responsibilities will be to develop market strategies designed to benefit Fuji Xerox Australia’s customers. It is a similar but broader role to the one that Brett Maishman occupied before he transferred into operations.Strategies will focus upon business development and industry-focused activities for the print, publishing and bureau/mail house markets, in line with Fuji Xerox Australia’s commitment to the growth of their customers’ businesses.

"We are very excited to have Anni come on board," said Nick Kugenthiran, GM of Fuji Xerox Australia’s Production Services Business Group. "I had only met her once at a GAMAA function but she impressed me highly. When we were looking to fill this position I said, 'Let's benchmark whoever it is against Anni.' Then someone said , 'Why don't we ask her?' So we did."

Anni will represent Fuji Xerox at key industry body events and liase with groups such as the PIAA, LIA, GAMAA, MMUA, ADMA and others, keeping their members abreast of developments in digital print and publishing.

“Over the past ten years I have seen Fuji Xerox Australia become increasingly synonymous with the graphic arts, publishing and mail house markets,” said Rowland-Campbell. “They are recognised as a committed player and I’m delighted to accept this new career challenge in building and strengthening the foundations laid by my predecessors.”

She added: “What attracted me to this role was the commitment to the industry I have seen exhibited by Fuji Xerox during my time at GAMAA. Not only does Fuji Xerox have the technology, more importantly it has the education support programs like ‘Profiting Thru’’ and the D-Print Challenge, both of which strongly assist its customer base. This sort of commitment to industry education is a true differentiator, and an important one.”

Rowland-Campbell said her first challenge would be re-defining herself in terms of the industry.

“At GAMAA an analogy of my role could be as a ‘coach to the players’. Now I’m one of the players on the team – which is a positive thing, particularly as it shows how good the industry can be in accommodating people and their knowledge across a variety of roles.”

Another change she is looking forward to is getting closer to the customers:

“I suppose before I had a ‘helicopter-view’ of the industry. I’m looking forward to being more hands-on with customers, so I can better articulate what they need, translating that into useful resources to help them do better business.”
