Ensuring the health, wellbeing and safety at work of its employees is one of six material matters highlighted in Fuji Xerox’s 10th annual 2014 sustainability report
This year’s report is the first where Fuji Xerox Australia has reported in line with the new Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 Core guidelines. According to Nick Kugenthiran, CEO, FXA, the longevity of the report is testament to the company’s focus on running the business in a sustainable and responsible way.
“We’re extremely proud to share our 10th annual sustainability report. In 2013/14, we undertook a review of our strategy, which brought renewed focus on our core business and a more streamlined organisation structure.
“Customer centricity, organisational alignment and business viability remain our long-term imperatives, and I believe we have set robust foundations for continued success in the years ahead.”
This review has sharpened the report’s focus on what the company terms six material matters:
• Transforming the business: defining, communicating and executing the strategy to ensure business viability and to realign the operational model;
• Focusing on what matters most – customers: evolving Fuji Xerox Australia’s approach to market based on changes in customer needs and demands;
• Procuring responsibly: sharing the business’ commitment to sound environmental, social and governance practice with its suppliers;
• Talented people: attracting and retaining the right talent to enable the business’ transformation;
• Cultural harmony: fostering a culture of respect, anti-bullying and diversity;
• Health and wellbeing: ensuring the health, wellbeing and safety at work for Fuji Xerox Australia’s employees.
