Ascent Partners will hold regular quarterly online machinery auctions following the success of the recent sale of surplus equipment from Graphitype NSW.
"This quarter we're offering over 50-plus lots from seven vendors at nine sites in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland," says Ascent MD Richard Rasmussen
"In most instances, these machines are surplus to the requirements of a purchaser of a business. Others are offered because of the purchase of new equipment or consolidation."
"The plant may be underutilised and hence surplus or some of the auctioned plant has been replaced by updated new plant, for example, a new digital machine is installed rendering the old machine surplus.
This auction, to be held on June 6-8th, includes:
- Offset and Digital Printing machines.
- Automated Computer to Plate (CtP) system.
- Neopost Inserter.
- Wide range of bindery equipment including Polar guillotine, stack lift, jogger, Horizon Perfect Binder, shrink wrappers, Collator, Stitcher trimmers, Stahl folder and other print room related equipment.
"I plan to run these auctions quarterly because there seems to be good demand for the service. The last auction we conducted had 115 bidding registrations, 798 bids, 15 successful bidders, and 53 of the 54 lots sold.
