Ascent Partners, Australia’s specialist business sales agent for the printing industry, has developed a new range of services to cater for all business sales needs. Last week we discussed our Base Service, this week our Intermediary Service.

The Intermediary Business Sale Service provides:

1.    An Appraisal based on careful analysis of documents / information you provide us. From this we’ll provide you with a “market reality” appraisal of what we think your business is worth, and the rationale behind that appraisal  
2.    Upon your go ahead, we produce the confidentiality agreement that we provide to qualified prospects. We also produce the Information Memorandum, which describes your business, including background, asking price, machinery, staff and client overview, premises and services offered.
3.    One month’s Advertising - in Print21 online, on our web site, as well as on four of Australia’s premiere business sale web sites. This is done anonymously, without divulging your identity.
4.    We pass on all leads from our existing data base and that result from the advertising
5.    We provide phone assistance throughout the whole process.

This service is perfect for those who wish to get a lot of support, but feel they can handle the face to face sales process once a lead is passed over to them.

Fees for businesses with a transaction value of under $2,000,000 are $1,950 plus GST for month one, and $495 plus GST for each month thereafter.  Larger transactions are quoted on a case by case basis.

This Intermediary Service is available nationally, and allows vendors to tap into our vast knowledge in print related business sales (over 20 business / goodwill sales) and 30 years of industry experience – we know the industry, how to realistically appraise a business, how to prepare the documentation, and how to market the business.

The advertising schedule we provide means your business gets excellent exposure without divulging your identity. We just speaks in general terms about where it is, what it does, the major machinery  (not by brand), and provide the asking price. We also supply leads we have from prospective purchasers who have contacted us in the past looking for similar businesses. Once leads are passed on it is up to the vendor, or their designate to contact them, and take on the sale and contracting process.  However, we provide phone support throughout the process.
