Between 20 and 30 Australian printers are expected to make the trip to the big HP user group conference Dscoop in Orlando next March.
Formed initially for HP Indigo users – supplied in Australia by Currie Group – Dscoop is a business focused conference with a mini HP trade show.
Blue Star sales director Kelvin Gage is the Asia Dscoop chairman, he says, “We have a great trip lined up. The Aussies and Kiwis will travel to Atlanta first, where we will visit the HP Centre of Excellence, and then go on site visits to different types of printers. Then we will will transfer down to Orlando for Dscoop itself.
“These Dscoop events are terrific because they are business focused. They are about developing your business, with a wide range of topics covered. It is a great opportunity to get out of the day to day of your business, see what is happening in the world around, talk to other printers, get inspiration and ideas from the speakers.
Gage installed his first HP Indigo at his Dominion Print business, it is now running with two others within Blue Star.
Dscoop Orlando takes place March 24-27 next year.
