Australian Graphic Servicing brings Glunz & Jensen’s new PlateWriter 2400 to the locals.
According to Glenn Maynard, managing director of AGS, there is a strong demand for the PlateWriter 2400 which has run length capabilities of 50,000 and a resolution capability reaching 2880dpi.
“We are very pleased to introduce this new and exciting product to the Australian market,” he said. “We see it as a very good fit with the current services we provide. We have had a strong and long-time relationship with Glunz & Jensen and are very pleased to be working with them on this new project.”
Recent recruit, Ross Gilberthorpe, who is handling AGS? marketing and business development, also believes that there is a good market for the PlateWriter locally. “I have seen a real need for quite a long time now for an affordable system to suit the smaller printer,” he said. “I can tell you this new iCtp PlateWriter is something to see.”
A statement from the company claims that 500 systems have been sold world-wide with 300 in the last year.
