Australian printers won six categories at the 8th annual PIXI (Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging) Awards, including Inkjet Printing, Digital and Offset Printing, Self-Promotion, Direct Marketing and Leaflets.
The competition recognises innovation and excellence in digitally printed work that uses Fuji Xerox solutions and attracted entries from around the region, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Submissions were evaluated on a five point criteria: print quality, use of digital technology, innovation, business effectiveness and overall aesthetics.
Australian print providers took home a total of 11 awards in 37 categories. Singapore’s iSuccess Digipress won the Best in Show prize.
Australia’s Pronto Direct was awarded 1st place in the Leaflets category, as well as Direct Marketing. Enviro Print Group took 1st place in the Healthcare category and 2nd place in Posters and Cards and Invitations. Condor Printing took away two awards - 1st place in Digital and Offset printing and joint 2nd place for Cards and Invitations. Rooster IMC was awarded 1st place for Self- Promotion and 2nd place for Catalogues, while Integrated Mailing Service took 2nd place for Direct Marketing. Documents on Call won 1st place for Inket Printing.
