Australian roller maker scores big UK export win
The lucrative contract is a feather in the cap of the local roller company, which has pioneered Australian manufacturing for many years and is a major exporter to SE Asian countries. This is a first for the UK.
“It's very good technology to help the industry reduce and eliminate alcohol from the printing process,” says Glenn Brissett, national sales manager. “We are sending over complete rollers and receiving them back for re-working when required. It proves the Australian industry is up to world class.”
The large UK deal is supplemented by another IPEX agreement to export the rollers to South Africa as well. The Brissett factory in Arncliffe, NSW is considered to be one of the foremost roller manufacturing plants in the world.
