This advertisement invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suppliers interested in working with DET to print and supply The School Magazine.
The seeking of Expressions of Interest is the first stage of a process to enter into a contractual relationship with a supplier for the provision of this requirement.
The process involves:
Printing of 4 magazine titles;
Approximately 40,000 copies of each title (Total 160,000 per month/publication)
Published and printed 10 times a year
Each month of the school year the Magazine provides a diverse mix of short stories, poems, plays, Indigenous tales, fables, non fiction articles, puzzles, cartoons and activities, all illustrated by leading Australian artists. With four separate titles for different age and ability levels, the Magazine caters for children from early independent readers to advanced primary school readers.
The Magazine can be used in the classroom, along with the teaching units, as a resource for teaching reading and related literacy across key learning areas.
The period of the contract will initially be for three (3) years, with an option for DET NSW to renew for a further two (2) periods of one (1) year.
