Big three team up at PrintEx
Upcoming PrintEx tradeshow sees Heidelberg, Konica Minolta and Kodak stand side by side with 450 square metres’ worth of floor space.
According to a statement, PrintEx marks the first time that the three companies will showcase their joint offering. In December 2009, Kodak announced a partnership, positioning Heidelberg as its exclusive distributor of Kodak consumables, workflow solutions and CTP equipment into the commercial sheetfed market in ANZ. Last year, HAN made waves at IPEX when by announcing it would become a reseller of Konica Minolta digital printers.
“The partnership has been a great opportunity for us to provide new markets with our capabilities and in turn offer our existing clients opportunities to expand into the digital market,” said Andy Vels Jensen, (pictured) managing director, Heidelberg ANZ.
Hiro Kaji, managing director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia believes that visitors to the show can benefit from the joint technologies working together. “It will provide a central reference point for the market’s growing needs in each area through a strong distribution network as digital, offset and business solutions join forces for the first time to create the print shop of today and the future,” he said.
These thoughts were also shared by Adrian Fleming, new managing director, Kodak Australia. “We are pleased to be showcasing our technologies together at PrintEx 11 to highlight the benefits this partnership provides to the industry. It’s an important platform to showcase an industry first in adaptable printing,” he said.
