Bin Laden bound for ebook

Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, evades print in new e-book from Random House.

According to an article in The Bookseller, Random House’s looked to an "instant e-book exclusive" examining the political, military and cultural implications of the ‘war on terror’ following the death of Bin Laden.

Senior editor, Drummond Moir said the idea for a Bin Laden digital exclusive was conceived on the 2 May, with the rights to the essays purchased only days later. “It's an experiment and it's very exciting,” he said.

Beyond Bin Laden: The Future of Terror is now available as an e-book and audio download both priced £2.99, with no plans to publish in a physical edition at a later date.
