Bird brains keep Peacock Bros flying high

Birds of a feather stay together and 120 years on, Peacock Bros is still Australian-owned and run by the original family line that started the company back in 1888.

Opening as a general printing company, Peacock Bros later established a partnership with Weber Marking Systems and remained the sole supplier for its products.

Today, Peacock Bros has 13 label presses and printing plants located across Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

Neil Crump, managing director since 1998, believes that a commitment to innovation has kept the company strong.

"A dedication to research and development of new technologies and smarter solutions for our customers has been the key to our success," he said.

In his time with the company, Crump has been responsible for purchasing two label printing businesses and two data capture companies to expand its scope. He is currently excited about the company's latest warehouse management software, SkyTrax, and believes that Peacock Bros has a long future ahead of it.

"It's a great testimony that we can produce such a breakthrough on our 120-year anniversary," he said.
