Paper merchant BJ Ball is once again a major sponsor of this year’s Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) graduate exhibition at the Western Sydney University.

The exhibition, titled Emergent, showcases major projects by 4th year students and is organised and curated by the students themselves.

“We’ve been involved with this wonderful event for four years now and it’s part of giving back to the industry,” said Tony Bertrand, national sales and marketing manager for BJ Ball Group. “We also run a six-month internship for graphic design graduates to give them experience in a commercial setting and teach them about different paper and print applications.” Other sponsors include SemiPermanent, The Distillery, Desktop, COMMUNE and The Design Kids.

Emergent will open its doors to industry, family and friends at 6pm on Monday 23 November, and will continue with a series of workshops and industry talks on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 at Parramatta Campus. You can register your attendance here.

Opening night: Monday 23 November, from 6pm. Tuesday 24 & Wednesday 25 November, 10am-3pm. Building EE, Sir Ian Turbott Auditorium, Parramatta South Campus. Free parking in lot P5, entry via Victoria Road.
