Blue Star makes its way to Queensland
Bigger is better according to Geoff Curtis, who, after two years of small business experience has joined Blue Star to head up a Queensland office as group business development manager.
"I was attracted to Blue Star's size," he said, "they've got an aggressive approach and are progressing very well in the industry."
With rumours of Blue Star acquiring a Brisbane-based printing company running rife amongst the industry, Curtis would only say that exciting times lay ahead for the company in the Queensland market.
"New business will be a primary focus for us in Queensland," he said.

With too many smaller companies, Curtis is a firm believer that the state needs more big players to shake things up and provide better services to customers. "The Brisbane market is over-serviced with small printers who do not have the same fire power that a group like Blue Star has to offer," he says.
"The print market will continue to decline for the small business operators and larger groups will satisfy the needs of the larger corporations."
After a quiet two years, Curtis looks forward to the challenges and growth that lies ahead. He will also self-publish his book, Steps to Networking Success in the new year.
