Boomerang Paper will trade as BJ Ball Roll Solutions from the beginning of September this year, as part of the ongoing integration of BJ Ball and Boomerang Paper, as it continued to grow and expand its offering with strong focus on the roll aspect of the paper industry.
BJ Ball Roll Solutions is the newest division and one that represents the ongoing need for innovation and enhanced supply chain solutions. As part of the company's alignment program BJ Ball Roll Solutions will continue to service its existing customers through the provision of products such as Thermal, Carbonless, Self Adhesive and Roll Label.
Boomerang Paper has a long history dating back to 1969. Ian Aiken was the original owner. Moving from South Africa, Ian started the business in a South Yarra flat and made deliveries in a Kombi van. According to Tony Bertrand, BJ ball marketing and business development manager, under the BJ Ball Group, Boomerang Paper has come a long way from its humble beginnings.
In addition to its existing range BJ Ball Roll Solutions will continue to release leading edge products into the industrial continuous inkjet market as exclusive distributors for leading European and Asia manufacturers.
Roll Label is a significant market sector in which BJ Ball intends to continue to expand. The company's recent acquisition of PMC Australia has positioned us for strong growth in this sector.
Peter Jolly (GM) and Jason Brown (national business manager – Synthetic & Self Adhesive) represent the growing demand for technical confidence when it comes to innovative substrates in roll form. Both Jolly and Brown continue in their areas of specialty, leading a team of experts across Australia.
