Brian Evans battles for pay out
Former CEO of PMP is taking the company to court over $1.56 million claim.
The dispute comes after Evans’ secretive departure in January this year where he was replaced by acting chief executive, Richard Allely. Reasons for Evans’ exit are unknown – neither he nor PMP will speak publicly over the decision. Evens left the company mere months after renewing his employment contract.
Since then, PMP has been plagued by persistent media speculation and reports that some of its catalogues had not been delivered on time and had been pulped. Senior management were also accused of not listening to staff members when they brought the matter to their attention. Industry observers predict an out of court settlement before the company has to wash its dirty linen in public.

Evans, (pictured), who is currently unemployed, is now suing PMP for $1.56 million plus interests and costs, adding another twist in the on-going saga. Reports suggest that a court hearing will not take place until at least May.
PMP intends on defending itself against Evans’ claim, and has appointed Blake Dawson legal firm to deal with the matter.
"No payment has been made to Mr Evans in relation to the cessation of his employment and this claim will be defended by the company,” PMP said in a statement.
