At an exciting time where our consultancy business is tying into our global strategy for growth, we are currently seeking applications from energetic and driven individuals for the role of Business Development Manager – Consultancy Services. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations and as leader and driver of the Business Consultancy team and the concept within Heidelberg Australia & New Zealand (HAN), this role is responsible for ensuring our customers maximise their association with Heidelberg through business consultancy solutions in conjunction with internal key stakeholders.
In addition, this role will effectively drive business consultancy from a sales perspective, in accordance with the Sales and overall HAN strategic and operational plans.
The successful candidate will also work with key stakeholders in Asia Pacific, Germany and USA in developing, testing and trialing of new consultancy products to provide key customers with analysis, solutions and recommendations to achieve maximum efficiency potential and to develop products and services as a revenue source for HAN.
Ideally holding tertiary qualification in a commercial or business related discipline, the successful candidate will have exposure to financial management and well developed analytical orientation.
You will have demonstrated experience in leading, managing and motivating a small team, along with a strong ability to influence internal stakeholders. Critical to this role is your working knowledge of the printing and/or manufacturing industry, enabling you to gain credibility and in turn effectively consult to internal and external customers. Extensive experience developing and presenting business proposals is fundamental as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written); relationship building ability; internal and external customer focus; problem solving ability and excellent computer literacy.
