Description: The APEC 2007 Taskforce (Taskforce) wishes to inform all interested parties that it is looking to engage a suitably qualified organisation to assist with the planning and implementation of a managed digital printing solution to facilitate all APEC 2007 documentation requirements at each of the APEC venues (in venue). It is envisaged that this will be implemented via a managed services contract for the provision of all printing, reproduction, binding and scanning devices, all associated consumable products and all related support services. This is notification that the Taskforce will be releasing a request for an expression of interest (EOI) in order to identify a shortlist of respondents who may be invited to respond to a subsequent RFT process.

Description: The Defence Imagery and Geospatial Organisation (DIGO) is seeking to enhance its printing capability through the replacement of its existing in-house offset printing facility with a combination of contracted commercial offset printing services and rapid response print-on-demand technology. This Request for Tender seeks to establish a panel of commercial printers capable of printing lithographed topographic, hydrographic, and aeronautical maps and charts. Maps and charts will specify between 3 and 10 colours and will be printed on a variety of media/stock. Copies of the RFT documentation, which provide detailed information regarding DIGO’s print specifications, may be obtained by faxing a request to the contact officer on (03) 5442 0233. Requests must include Company name, contact details and an email address to which the RFT documentation is to be forwarded. The closing date and time for submission is 12 Noon AESST, Friday 24 March 2006 at the location nominated in the RFT documentation.

Description:
The Minister for Finance and Administration, Senator the Hon Nick Minchin, announced on 17 August 2005 that the Australian Government will move to the next stage of preparing for a possible Telstra sale. The Minister indicated that given the Scoping Study’s advice that the preferred timing for a Telstra public share offer is late 2006, the Australian Government will make a further decision in early 2006 about proceeding with a sale. At this stage, no assurance can be given that a decision will be made to proceed with a full or part sale. The legislation required has been passed by the Parliament.
The Department of Finance and Administration has appointed ABN AMRO Rothschild, Goldman Sachs JBWere and UBS as Project Management Joint Global Coordinators (PMJGCs) to prepare for the possible sale.
The PMJGCs are issuing are request for tender for the role of a Graphic Designer in preparation for the possible sale, and are inviting parties who are experienced in all graphic design services normally associated with an offer of shares to the public to tender for the role.

Tender Title: NSW Government Accreditation Scheme for Creative Advertising Services

Description: State Procurement, a business unit of the Department of Commerce, is establishing an accreditation scheme on behalf of the NSW State Contracts Control Board (the Board) to create a prequalified panel of creative advertising agencies for access by government departments and other eligible organisations from time to time.
Applications for prequalification are invited from advertising agencies who can provide strategic communications advice, media planning services and development of creative concepts and, where available, other marketing services.
The Scheme will commence when applications open on 1 August 2005 and conclude 31 July 2007.
The conclusion date for the Scheme may be extended for a period of twelve months at the discretion of the Board.
The Scheme will operate in accordance with NSW Government procurement policy and the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
