Cactus-printed campaign wins OMA award

An out-of-home campaign printed by Cactus Imaging took home an Outdoor Media Association Award in the best use of multi-format category. The campaign, called Know My Name was by oOh!media for the National Gallery of Australia.

Cactus general manager operations Keith Ferrell told Print21 the job was printed on vinyl. “It’s great creative, brilliantly printed, and top quality,” he said.

“We’re over the moon about winning; it is one of a few awards we have won over the past few months. It cements Cactus a quality printer in Australia.”

OMA said quarter two Creative Collection awards, “celebrate the big, bold, and audacious canvas that is out-of-home, by recognising exceptional campaigns each quarter”.

OMA CEO Charmaine Moldrich said she was drawn to the NGA’s Know My Name campaign, which brought female Australian artists from the gallery’s collection to the street.

“Using digital signs, the campaign featured the work of 45 artists,” she said.
