Cadbury misses the fine print
Thousands of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Double Choc packs were recalled following the discovery that nut allergy labels were missing.
According to the company, a printing error was responsible for the omission of a warning to consumers that the chocolate packs could contain traces of nuts and should not be eaten by nut allergy sufferers.
Cadbury is offering refunds to those who do experience nut allergies, but it also added that the packs were safe for consumption by those who do not suffer from these allergies.
In a statement from the company, Cadbury claimed that no other Dairy Milk products were affected by this printing error.
