Call for printers feedback on carbon tax
Printing Industries calls on members to participate in a survey on carbon tax which will form part of its submission to the Federal Government.
Printing Industries is working with the Pulp & Paper Innovation Council who are making a separate submission on paper production. Printing Industries aims to ensure that one of the largest (if not the largest) input to printing is being strongly and completely represented in the push to alleviate the effects of a carbon tax on paper prices. The paper-related survey questions will assist in this matter.
Printing Industries policy objective is to ensure that the industry is not economically disadvantaged by the proposed carbon tax. Feedback from its members will form part of our representation to the Federal Government on this critical economic reform issue.
The Impact of Carbon Tax survey (available via this link) will remain open until Thursday 14 April 2011. If you have any comments or wish to give further feedback please contact Hagop Tchamkertenian on (02) 8789 7361 or hagop@printnet.com.au
