Here he is - in his own words -
I'm seeking a Sales / Business Development / Account Management position in print.
I have over 12 years experience in sales including phone sales and field sales, account management, customer service and sales support. For 5 of these years I have been working within media, online, print and magazine advertising working as a Business Development Executive. This role includes over the phone and face to face sales relationships.
Currently I'm working at a large corporate-services group in Sydney's CBD, as a face-to-face Business Development Executive. I am doing extremely well and I have been told that "I am the best Salesman they have ever had"!
Throughout my sales experience, I have been involved with primarily business development, account management both face-to-face and over the phone, including sourcing of all leads for many industries, including online and print media, etc. I have always provided excellent customer service at all times.
I have also dealt mainly in a business-to-business environment and have experience within small business markets as well as medium and large enterprises. In all my roles, I have achieved well above all my target levels.
I believe my skills and strengths are that I am hard working and have a competitive nature. I feel I am great sales negotiator and am prepared to go that extra step in order to clinch the sale. I'm a creative thinker and like to think outside the square, and challenge myself and others around me. I also have great time management skills, have excellent attention to detail, am well presented, hard working, have great business acumen and have a hunger to succeed. My communication skills, both verbal and written are exceptional.
