Candidate of the Week - Business Developer/Manager/Analyst/Sales/Marketing
I'm the founder and ex owner of NZ Printing Supplies Ltd, one of mayor suppliers of printing consumables in New Zealand. I've started this business in 1995 from scratch, with no funds, in new country and in completely new business environment to me.
I have more than 11 years of experience in primarily offset and digital printing area. Even though my focus was on business development/management and sales/marketing, I was also involved in all other business activities (import and procurement, technical support, export and freight forwarding). During this period I've established and managed over 300 accounts and I was also partially involved in printing equipment sale.
After selling my business I've moved with my family to Australia and I now live in Melbourne.
I was working as a business consultant for several years, advising other businesses on the best ITC and document management solutions.
I've also spent 8 years in science and research area where I've developed analytical approach to problem solving. This was of huge help to me later on, in day to day running of my own company.
I would be happy to work in the area of business management/development/analysis/consulting/sales/marketing (or anything similar), considering that I was doing it for 11 years on daily basis.
