Candidate of the week: Experienced Account Manager/BDM with Print Management Experience, Sydney

We are proud to present a young (30-ish), "up-and-coming" print sales professional - confident, well-spoken and comfortable in making presentations, cold-calling, etc.

Originally trained in bindery with one of Sydney's largest printers, he rose to supervisory roles, but quickly embraced the client-side due to his personable and gregarious nature. Recognising his natural "people skills" they promoted him to sales rep, a role in which he has thrived ever since.

Since then, he's worked for one of Australia's largest print management groups, in various senior account-management roles - in Sydney and Melbourne - playing a key role in managing some of their biggest and most strategically sensitive accounts.

He therefore represents an ideal "blend" of several strands -

• an understanding of print which enables him to actively manage and advise clients on their print needs,
• his natural "sales" abilities to establish and build relationships.

He could very happily remain in a senior account management role, or move into a more challenging BDM role for the right company.
