Candidate of the Week - Graphic Pre-press - Volunteer (part time job)

I am a 25-year-old from Mauritius and have completed a Certificate III in Graphic Pre-press at the Cambridge International College.  I am now studying for a Diploma in Multimedia at Western Institute of Technology. I am looking for a volunteer, part-time job related to printing industry.

I believe that my strong technical experience and education will make me a very competitive candidate for any position. I also have experience in learning and excelling at new technologies as needed.

Assistant Production Controller
Request quotes, deal with printers, prepress and any other suppliers, prepare production briefs, check and compile quotes for proposals – making recommendations. Monitor delivery of final artworks and liase with suppliers/agencies making sure that appropriate docs or formats are being delivered. Delivery check – what was ordered v/s what was delivered. Provide brief cost estimates to brand managers. Check reports. Check and approve payment requests.
