Candidate of the week: IT specialist, Sydney
I’m highly interested in the advertised position as an IT specialist.
Through a change in my personal life I decided to study in Australia. The course called “Diploma of Information Technology (Database Design and Development)” and is provided by TAFE in Sydney. I have a Student VISA for 2 years on which I can work 20 hours in my study period and fulltime during the Holidays. In the end of June I will be over in Sydney and get a local address and phone number.
As an IT professional skilled in Network Technologies, different Operating Systems and Printer Technologies, I feel confident to fulfil your expectations. In the past I planned, installed and maintained a LAN network with routers, switches and all the cabling. On such a LAN I can build a Windows Domain structure and also Linux/UNIX servers preferred with virtualisation like VMware, hyper-V or Xen. Also I developed high skills in Printer technologies through the work in Xerox.
In addition to my technical skills I developed strong customer service skills and good team working methods. As manager of a student club and a team leader in a handicapped people workshop I learned to lead and motivate groups.
My résumé is available upon request.
