Candidate of the week: Prepress, Production and Customer Support Specialist seeks challenging role, Canberra

Very capable individual with vast experience at middle management level and senior prepress level. Colour Management, Planning, Production, Client relations, Prepress and Quoting/Sales support skills.

Quality focused and able to liaise with stakeholders on both sides from all print trades and all kinds of clients. Long experience dealing with National institutions and major design houses on a technical level, project management, colour matching, layout, design and quality control of major jobs including web ordering and website layout. Willing to take on a position of responsibility with high level of commitment and flexibility.

Also experienced in job planning, procedure and workflow implementation and development. Great technical knowledge in high end prepress, file wrangling, software (Adobe apps, PrintCost, Microsoft apps) job planning, quoting etc. Very knowledgeable in all technical aspects of colour, offset and digital printing, quoting, quality control, sales support and production process strategy and job tracking etc.

Trade qualified, 30 years continuously employed in Canberra, 12 years with one of the country's most respected print houses with an international reputation for high end art catalogues and complex projects. Looking for a position which is challenging and interesting which allows me to use my broad range of skills to the maximum.
