Candidate of the week: Print Finishing Operator/Production Manager, Relocating UK to Syd Apr 2012

OVERVIEW
With fourteen years experience in the Printing Industry and working for companies of contrasting sizes and aspirations, I have gained an intuitive understanding of business processes, systems and operations. While working primarily in Finishing, I have a deep knowledge of the flow of the Printing process from the Strategic and Creative work at the Sales end all the way through the Pre-press phases to Finishing the product and distributing this to customers.

I can empathise with all the work that goes in at each stage and therefore I am extremely committed to making sure the product that goes out is fully representative of all the efforts made by the rest of the team.

The precise skills, attention to detail, product/market knowledge and ability to use modern technological equipment that are crucial in the Printing Industry, are also fully transferable into other job types.

This adaptability has helped me secure promotions into senior positions throughout my career. I am now the print finishing production manager at my current place of work. I have excellent reporting skills, communicate extremely well with clients and bring a professional attitude with me to work every day.
