Work Experience:
13 October 2003 – Till Date
Flexographic plate maker and CDI operator. Milestone Lithographic Ltd (now Colorite Group Ltd.)

Duties Include: Manufacturing analog plates, Fast plates on flow line and ECLF exposure unit, Fast unit and operating CDI. All types of water wash plates.
Stock control- dealing with couriers (inward/outward goods)


1st August 2001 to 2nd November 2001
Worked as office assistant (volunteer work) in CPS training, 135 London St. Hamilton.

Duties Include: Photo copies, Preparing folders, Leaflets, Comb binding, stitching, bulk mail, sending faxes and general office errands.


March 1972 – February 2003
Worked as Cameraman / Plate-maker in the offset press of ministry of agriculture, New Delhi, India.

Duties Include:
Operating process camera, printing down frame, enlarger, Arc lights and other machinery used for reproduction.
Preparing line and halftone negatives and positives on Ortho-Lith film.
Film imposition – 4 pages, 8 pages, 16 pages and posters. Retouching of negatives.
Preparing of Aluminium and Zinc Printing Plates for offset printing.
Surface plate, wipe on and P.S. plates.
Can make Zinc blocks.
Working knowledge of screen printing (manually) is an additional experience.


May 1971 – February 1972
Worked as assistant cameraman in TEJ Press Pvt. Ltd. Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi, India. Publishers of various magazines and periodicals including daily newspaper.

Technical:  National Apprenticeship Certificate In process Cameraman (pre-press).
Training:    Regional institute of printing technology, Allahabad, India. (1968-1969)
Government of India press, Photo-Litho Wing, Minto Rd. New Delhi, India(1969-1971)
Computers:  Basic Knowledge.
