Candidate of the week: Printing or Book Bindery roles, Melbourne
I am a trained bookbinder. For the last year or so, I have been undertaking contractual work in the printing and bookbinding area with a variety of companies as a casual worker. I am looking for more permanent or ongoing work, and am willing to consider a company offering short term or casual work – if there may also be the chance of more permanent work as well as I would like to get into a regular work with the one company.
I have included my resume with this letter, as I would very much like to be considered for any roles in Melbourne which may be related to the printing or book bindery area I am an extremely hard working and reliable individual and would very much appreciate a call for any reasonable work which may be coming up.
I am willing to travel, and am looking for a company that is offering a regular day shift in this area. I can confirm I have a variety of different experience from working with a variety of companies, and can operate a variety of machines and types for different roles/jobs as needed. I am flexible in the type of work I can do and am open to discussion for roles in related areas.
Most recently, in my work history, as mentioned, I have been working as an independent contractor for Stockdale Print Staff in Melbourne, undertaking a variety of shorter and longer term assignments on a casual basis where I have operated a variety of different equipment, and helped complete product runs. I also worked as a Supervisory Binder for company Fish Print between 2008-2009, and as a Trade Bookbinder for Craftman Press between 2000-2008.
My resume is available upon request.
